Long time no update, huh? xD

Sorry 'bout that. Especially since I joined a Tsubasa RP, and I haven't been able to start being active there yet. I get to RP as Miyuki-chan ♥

But, anyway, life's been kinda hectic. They've started cracking down on us about exams at school, and my mom was in Las Vegas for almost a week, which kinda left me, my sister, and my dad alone to fend for ourselves.

...

Needless to say, the whole house became a disaster area.

Not as bad as the usual disaster areas, though, which was a bit of a surprise. It gets messier in an afternoon when my mom goes out then it did when she was away for a little more than five days. How is that even possible? xD

Well, anyway!

It's that time of year when Christmas is just around the corner. When carols are being sung loudly (and badly, by me) for all to hear. When milk and homemade cookies are all you want to drink and eat up until the massive turkey dinner your mother makes (haha, guilty as charged).

Unfortunately, it's also the time when TEACHERS start CRACKING DOWN on us poor, poor students, in a fruitless attempt to get us to study our arses off, even though final exams are still a couple months away (almost exactly two, for me).

Exams are probably my least favourite part of school. I never study, but I do well enough - especially if I know the subject really good. I always tend to get sick around exams and tests, though - and I miss out on the in-class reviews, which are mainly all I depend upon when it comes to preparing for the tests.

When I had my Grade 9 science exam last year, I was so sick I could barely say a word without coughing my brains out, let alone concencrate on a test, and most of my sheet was just random stuff that popped into my head when I read the questions xD

I remember that there was a question about clones, and I just started writing about the two Syaoran's and Xing Huo and just about every single clone I could think of from Tsubasa.

And then I randomly started talking about the first cloaned cat, named Rainbow, but the only reason I knew about her was because I did a project on her in grade 7.

There was also an essay question about the sun and moon and the solar system - I wrote about Kero and Yue from CCS. And then I also mentioned Minako from Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon. Mina-chan has always been my favourite ♥

But anyway, it was probably the most messed up test I had ever written, mainly because I could barely make sense of half the questions.

I got a phonecall home the next day, asking if I'd like to retake the test.

My mom opted for me to just do the course over, though. So next semester I'm doing Science again.

I wonder if I'll answer the questions just as strangely? xDDD

Whooooooo!! Yesterday was a snow day!

The first of the whooooooooooole winter. And we've still got about 3 and a half months of possible snow day-worthy days to go! *hops up and down excitedly*

I LOOOOVE SNOWDAYS 8D

They are the best. Definitely. It's, like... getting a surprise party that you actually didn't find out about and weren't expecing at all, and then walking into a room and seeing all your friends and family there with presents and cake and ice cream... :3

I spent most of the day laying in bed watching anime... to be specific, Sailor Moon. "Moonlight Densetsu" is now permanently stuck in my head, and I don't mind, because I flippin' love that song. Seriously.

I've decided that I'm gonna try and do what cardcaptorkiki -chan did and watch the whole anime, all five seasons. It's been so long since I last saw Sailor Moon kick bad guy bootie ;)

Wish me luck - I'm on episode 18 of the first season, and once I get home I'm gonna try and finish the first season. 46 episodes in two days? Phhhht, I can so do that.
